Transitioning from Arbonne Foundation to Baddass Cosmetics

Master Makeup Artist Lisa Davis

Arbonne RVP with 20+ years of experience in the beauty industry

BADDASS HI-DEF Liquid Foundation was specifically designed to mimic the luxurious lightweight feel of Arbonne’s discontinued formula while incorporating advanced HD technology for a camera-ready finish.
This medium-to-full coverage foundation delivers a luminous, dewy complexion that looks flawless in any lighting, even under high-definition lenses.

  • HD pigments blur imperfections, creating a smooth, even finish that’s undetectable on camera and in real life.

  • Infused with moisturizing properties and collagen-like ingredients, it helps reduce puFiness and provides lasting hydration.

  • Its water-resistant formula ensures all-day wear, so you stay flawless on-screen or off.
Transitioning Tips

We’ve worked hard to match Arbonne’s shades as closely as possible. To ensure a seamless transition, our foundation shades are named in alignment with their Arbonne counterparts. While most customers transition easily to the same foundation they used in Arbonne, we’ve created this guide to assist with any necessary adjustments.

For Pink Undertones
If you have rosy undertones, our Soft Blush and Rosy Beige shades are designed for you. These shades are slightly darker than their Arbonne equivalents.

  • Soft Blush: Light pink undertone

  • Rosy Beige: Medium pink undertone

Tip: 90% of Rosy Beige users transition perfectly, while 10% prefer stepping down to Soft Blush for a lighter look. We have had nearly zero exchanges on Soft Blush, as the color is accurate.

Mixing Shades

As professional makeup artists, we always recommend owning two foundation shades— one lighter and one deeper. This flexibility accommodates your skin’s natural changes throughout the year, such as summer sun exposure or lighter tones in winter.

Benefits of Mixing Shades:

    • Adjust the foundation to match your skin by mixing two shades in diFerent ratios.

    • Use the deeper shade solo for occasions like a spray tan or during vacations.

    • Achieve a custom match year-round, especially for those with neutral or yellow undertones, who tan easily.

Pro Tip: Mix shades on the back of your hand, starting with equal parts, and adjust as needed. Test along the jawline, keeping in mind the neck is typically lighter than the body, and you may need to extend your foundations coverage down the neck. Foundations should match the body NOT the face.

         For Yellow/Neutral Undertones

If your skin tans easily, you likely fall into the neutral or yellow undertone    category. Most customers find an easy match with Honey Beige or Neutral Beige without adjustment.

      • Honey Beige: Light neutral undertone
      • Neutral Beige: Medium neutral undertone

      • Earthy Beige: Medium olive/yellow undertone

      • Golden Bronze: Tan golden undertone

      • Deep Bronze: Deep golden undertone

      Note on Earthy Beige:

Our Earthy Beige is slightly more yellow and less green compared to Arbonne’s version. Some Earthy Beige users now prefer Neutral Beige for its olive undertone, while those with more golden tones may prefer Earthy Beige.

      Note on Buff:

Honey Beige is the closest match for customers transitioning from Arbonne’s Buff. Our Buff shade is currently out of stock as we refine its formula to better suit our customers’ needs.

      Note on spray tanning:

If you spray tan regularly, we recommend adding a second, darker foundation shade to mix with your usual color for a perfect match.

        • Fair to Medium Skin Tones: Mix Neutral Beige with your regular shade.

        • Medium to Tan Skin Tones: Mix Golden Bronze with your regular shade.
